Award-winning jazz singer Ori Dagan was born in Haifa and moved to Canada when he was 8. Starting out on classical piano, he decided to devote his life to jazz after falling in love with the music of Ella Fitzgerald, Anita O'Day, Charlie Parker and Lester Young. Shortly after the release of his debut album “S’Cat Got My Tongue” in 2009, he was named "Canada's Next Top Crooner" by CBC Radio. On his latest release “Less Than Three” Dagan makes jazz out of Madonna, Elton John, Lady Gaga and Elvis Presley, as well as his original love song to a search engine, "Googleable." The recording also features two songs in Hebrew: his blues for peace, "Nu Az Ma?" and a new arrangement of "Eretz Zavat Chalav" featuring Jane Bunnett. Joined by rising stars on Tel Aviv's jazz scene, this tour marks Ori Dagan's first time performing back home in Israel.
